Description
The Spiked Speedwell (Veronica spicata) is a hardy, perennial plant that is native to Europe and North America. Its spiked leaves have a distinctive bright green hue and grow in a tight rosette pattern. This plant produces spikes of lavender or white flowers in the summer, making it a popular garden addition. It is a low maintenance shoft-lived perennial, growing in full sun or partial shade and preferring moist, well-draining soil. Spiked Speedwell is an easy to grow and long-lasting groundcover and does well when naturalised in lawns, meadows or amongst other perennials.
