LOCAL CEO RETURNS FROM “DESTINATION BOOTCAMP” WITH NEW TOOLS TO CHANGE BUSINESS, COMMUNITY,
ATTRACT NEW CUSTOMERS
Franktown, CO, May 1, 2023 — Franktown’s, Greg Zabikow, CEO of The Sprucery, completed this month the first since COVID in person “Destination Business BootCamp”, where he learned hundreds of new methods to bring more customers and tourists to Franktown. Zabikow was among a group of business owners and community leaders from across North America who attended the three day, 20-hour workshop.
Greg Zabikow’s,The Sprucery is the first garden center and tree nursery from Franktown, CO ever to attend the Destination BootCamp.
The Sprucery is the only full-service garden center in Colorado with a large evergreen selection, 12,000 plus trees, over 200 years of industry experience, and the ability to go from digital design to install landscaping for your outdoor space.
The garden center is so much more than a full-service nursery. It is a destination. We have 20 acres for you to explore, a one of a kind 200-foot waterfall, immersive landscape displays, and a selection of plant material you won’t find elsewhere. We’re located in the Franktown area and have helped gardeners create their dream landscapes for more than 16 years. Why? Because we love plants and trees as much as you do. Therefore, come visit the best tree nursery and garden center in the Parker, Franktown, Elizabeth, and Castle Rock Colorado area. You will be able to learn, grow, and admire your garden space.
The Destination BootCamp was created by professional speaker and marketing consultant Jon Schallert who teaches independent business owners on how to reposition their businesses as “consumer destinations”. According to Schallert, a business using his “Destination Business” strategies can compete effectively with larger brick and mortar competitors, along with online giants like Amazon. It is not uncommon for destination businesses to create change in an entire city, by drawing consumers from miles around, from outside the immediate marketplace of a community, says Schallert.
“With the principles we learned at the BootCamp, we will be able to satisfy more of our customers’ needs and make purchasing annuals, perennials, house plants, shrubs, bushes, trees, and outdoor space designing a much more enjoyable, fun experience. Additionally, we will be attracting more visitors and tourists from outside Franktown,” says Zabikow. “With what we’ve learned, there’s no reason we can’t attract plant lovers from hundreds of miles away.” To follow our journey join us on Instagram at www.instagram.com/thesprucerygardencenter.
