Autumn Purple Ash Fraxinus americana

This tree is the most common ash tree.  It has thick green foliage in the summer and turns purple in the fall.  This tree holds its fall color until well after the first frost.  Do not plant this tree in elevations over 7,500.  This tree grows rapidly and will mature at 50′ tall and 30′ wide.
