The year-round appeal makes this shrub very popular.  The twigs glow red in the winter which makes it a nice addition to any landscape.  The Redtwig Dogwood has white flowers and the leaves also turn red in the fall.  Its berries attract birds. Do not plant this shrub over 9,500 feet.  The mature height is 8′ and 8′ wide.
