Maiden Grass Miscanthus sinensus

This popular grass has rich green foliage and produces long spikes of feather-fine-texture.  This grass was cultivated in Japan but because of its growth habit, fall color, silvery plumes and winter presence many people loving having it in their gardens in Colorado.  This grass also tolerates a wide range of soils.  Plant this grass up to 8,000 feet.  This grass matures at 4-5′ and 2′ wide.
