Blue Avena (Oat grass) Helictotrichon sempevirens

This grass gets blue oat spiky foliage in the early spring.  It is a silvery-blue  foliage turns tan in the summer.  The Blue Avena can be planted in groups or used alone as an accent grass.  Do not use it above 8,500 feet.  It can grow to a height of 2-3′ and a width of 2-3′.
