Common GoldfishCommon Goldfish Carassius auratus auratus

Goldfish, a relative of the Koi, are the most domesticated fish available.  They vary greatly in size, body shape, fin structure, and color.  Typically, goldfish are hardier than Koi.  They are more likely to survive in shallower water during the winter months, and usually grow at a slower rate. Goldfish can get big but usually range between 2”-18”.
